A sizzling
profile will help you find love online.
If you’re new to
the Internet dating game you’ve probably
already been perplexed by the multitude of
online dating sites and the different
services they have to offer you. When you
finally decide which one to join and you
need to
create a profile
which is
usually free
there’s a good chance that the large blank
screen will just be too much for you; many
online love seekers make the mistake of
barely filling one in. While a picture is as
good as a thousand words, a few words would
be nice to compliment that picture and help
find love online.
Personal
details.
Name, age, sex
and details like that really are essential
for finding love online and there is
absolutely no point in lying; these things
have an irritating habit of coming back and
biting you, and will provide no help in your
quest for love online. Also there is a tie
and a place for humour and the personal
details section is neither. Telling someone
you live in hell isn’t going to help the
decision whether the trip is worth it.
Likes/Dislikes.
Again be
truthful and try to add a little wit if you
can think of anything funny but don’t be too
nasty on the dislikes section. Some people
can be very easily offended by a sarcastic
comment and even if they’re probably not the
person for you, you’ll never know if they
close your profile without messaging.

Seeking.
The section
where you say exactly who you’re looking
for. Again, honesty is the key, and if you
are looking for something unusual this could
well be a good icebreaker. Try not to be too
graphic when you fill this section in,
though, you could scare a few potential
partners away with brash language and an
undying love for 46DD naturals.
About me.
There’s always
an about me section for you to fill in and
you should try to steer clear of the clichéd
comments that you’re a fun loving, sensitive
person who’s looking for love. While it’s
obviously true it’s also the most common
thing for anyone to put in their profile
when they can’t think of anything else to
put. If you’re fun loving with a good sense
of humour then show it, don’t write it. The
same is true if you are sensitive and
caring; everyone loves a little bit of
vulnerability but don’t come across as being
needy and desperate or you’ll have visitors
running for the cross button quicker than
you can say ‘marry me now’.
Always, always
include a photo, essential to
finding love online. No matter how shy
you are about your picture appearing on a
dating site you are losing virtually every
potential candidate by not including a
photograph with your profile. Do you have
something to hide? Even if you do, you’re
better off getting that out of the way
straight away and avoid any awkward
explanations at a later date. Go find love
online.
